I am so, so grateful to finally have this on vinyl. Julien, thank you. Might be my favorite record I own.
Two incredible standouts: XX and XXIII.
This installment is slightly darker, slightly more assertive than its brethren. That's what makes it my favorite. jammingdevice

This album doesn't feel as refined or fully realized in comparison to its younger brothers—Marchal will return to many of the same melodies in the sequels as a more mature pianist and composer, but that doesn't change that this is still a beautiful, contemplative album. Each track feels like the answer to a question; an insight, if you will.
INSIGHT X leans particularly hard into classical roots. It's a treat! jammingdevice
Recorded in one night in the Grunewald Church just outside Berlin, this EP explores the relationship between instrumentation and space.

Less a fantasia, more a farewell. This one strikes me more mournful, less hopeful and explorative than its predecessors; a poignant ending to a series of wispy poetry spoken in a universal language. Thanks Julien. A total pleasure. jammingdevice
